An apparatus comprising a first clamp device (4) for pressing an insert film (7) against the parting surface of a fixed mold (11) in such a way as to enclose a cavity (10) and an injection gate (14), the fixed die (11) having vacuum suction ports (16) and the injection gate (14) for a molten resin (17), a movable die (13) having runners (112) which face the injection gate (14) and communicate with the cavities (10), wherein the insert film (7) is interposed between the fixed die (11) and the movable die (13) and the pattern of the insert film (7) is transferred to the molded product simultaneously with injection molding. After the insert film (7) is pressed against the surface of the fixed die (11) by the first clamp device (4), vacuum suction brings the insert film (7) into close contact with the fixed die (11) and the molten resin (17) is injected through the injection gate (14) to reach from holes formed through the insert film (7) via the runners (112) to fill the cavity between the insert film (7) and the movable die (13).
