A metering device (D) for a compressible container of a liquid product has a metering chamber (5) and a metering tube (4, 9) which serves for filling the chamber via an overflow opening (6) in the metering tube. In order to change the quantity of product which is metered the metering tube can be vertically adjusted by rotation of a closure cap (12) at the top of the metering chamber.
