Laser system

The laser system comprises several laser radiation sources connected to light-conducting single-mode fibres, and an optical beam transformation system which transforms the combined laser radiation field onto an object. The optical system (26) includes a collimating element (30) which collimates the divergent laser radiation emerging from the ends (22) of the single-mode fibres (16), and forms a collimated beam (32). The optical system (26) also include a focussing element (34) which focus the collimated beam as an entity onto a focal point (28).
