<p>The invention concerns a universal tape that has a first adhesive closure tape (5) along one edge of the upper side (3) of the tape (1) that is congruent with the edge of the tape (1) in the longitudinal direction and is sub-divided into a series of tabs (7) along its longitudinal outer side by transverse recesses (6). Said universal tape has a second adhesive closure tape (10) on the other edge of the lower side (8) so that on spiral twist of the tape (1) through 360 degrees, the first adhesive closure (5) on the right edge of the upper side (3) and the second adhesive closure tape (10) on the left edge of the lower side (8) engage in one another and can be coiled spirally from left to right or from right to left and that, on twist of the tape (1) through 180 degrees as seen from the tape cross section, the tape (1) can also be coiled spirally from right to left and from left to right, so that there are four possibilities of spiral coiling that result in substantially uniform inner and outer surfaces.</p> |
