Graphics board for computer monitor control

The computer system has a PCI local bus, known as the primary bus (10), and is used to transfer date between various modules and a processor (12). The system has a main board (14) for the hard disc controller with plug in slots for additional cards (161,162,163). In the PCI slot (163) is the graphics board and this has two monitors (18) and a PCI or PCT bridge (20). Three together with the controllers (22) are connected to a graphics expansion bus (21).
