Finger protection for print roller

The print roller (3) is mounted on eccentric supports (7) swing the print roller out of contact with the transfer roller (1,5) to change the print master (2). A cover (8), also mounted on the eccentric supports, swings between the two rollers when the print roller is swung out of contact. The finger protection cover is coupled to the eccentric mounting by geared segments which provide the required angular drive. The cover has a rear lip which covers the increased gap between the fixed finger protection (11) and the print roller.
