The plugs (14) are arranged in separate rectangular housings (15), from each of which a contact arrangement (18,19) protrudes in one direction and a cable (20) in its sleeve (21) from the other. The housings are lined up in a holder (1) which can be closed by means of a hinged cover (2). The floor of the holder extends throughout the length of the housings and is provided with bars (8,11) projecting from both ends of its base (7) towards the cover. One bar (8) extends for a short distance under the contacts, and the other bar (11) from the opposite end under the cable sleeves.
