Control of the drive of a wheeled floor transport vehicle

The drive and or ancillary units of a wheeled vehicle of a type used for transporting goods around a factory or warehouse are controlled by foot operated pedals(3). The pedal can be hinged to a support on the chassis(4) and has a spring(6) at one end that passes a contact surface(5) against a pressure dependant resistance foil(8). The signal output is used to control the drive and varies dependent upon foot pressure. A double foot pedal arrangement is possible.
