The holder (10) includes three axial recesses (20) undercut in the axially outermost part (16) of the bell housing (4) cavity between its first set of ball (8) throats (17), and each recess has its associated filler (30) conjoined with the recess in meridian section, plus a device (23) to hold the fillers in place in their recesses. The fillers are tabs integrated at their outer end with a slotted linking ring whose flat design is fitted with two projecting grippers used to temporarily close off the ring slots. The fillers can also be designed as tongues in hook form with an outer boss piece used to cover over the endface (18) of the housing, and in this case the holder has a circular rigid ring. When using plate fillers, the holder presents a rigid cap (23) whose ring is welded to the housing endface (18). Additional components include ball cage (9) with ball nests (9A) working with the inside (15) of the housing.
