There is provided a blanket sealing bag machine (10) having a variable diameter sealing drum (14) comprising a plurality of spindles (136) disposed at a first end of an axle (144) and a like plurality of spindles (136) disposed at an opposing end of the axle (144), the plurality of spindles being greater than sixteen spindles, the spindles (136) extending radially from the axle (136). There is further provided a blanket sealing bag machine (10) that utilizes the angle of blanket wrap (152, 156, 160, 164, 168).
