One-sided profiling of components made of light-metal sheet

The method for one-sided profiling of components (1), in particular, those made of aluminium or its alloys, with different surface structures is effected by the fact that a sheet-metal strip is guided through a single roll pair in which one roll is provided with appropriate circumferential profiling, while the other roll has no profiling. The desired surface structure (15, 16, 17) is introduced simultaneously into the individual regions of the strip. Also claimed are an apparatus for implementation of the proposed method, and a resultant component. Also claimed is the apparatus used to carry out the above method.
