A four piece table tennis table (10) includes a table top (11), a base structure (14) for supporting the table top (11) on a surface, and a net (16) extending transverse of the table top. The table top (11) is comprised of two table top halves (12, 13), each half being formed from two rectangular table sections. The table sections are secured together with connectors and stiffeners (24, 29) to provide rigid, planar table halves which are in turn aligned to be coplanar to define the playing surface of the table tennis table. |
