The invention relates to an arrangement of non-invasive measurement-data recording and evaluation apparatus and a related process for the judging of animal carcasses for incorporation in data processing systems. In addition to the recording and evaluation, by data processing systems, of measurement data for judging carcasses, e.g. for the commercial classification or the commercial value determination, the object of the invention is also to guarantee the spatial starting position of the object measured and also supply and removal of the object measured in relation to the measurement-data recording apparatus, and to incorporate said data in a quality assurance system. In the figure the object is attained in that a measuring-point assignment system (24) records data for positioning and identifying the object measured, transmits said data in the form of co-ordinates to a control unit (23) and positions the test sensors (3), which can be calibrated and/or which must not be subjected to calibration (in particular an ultrasound sensor array), at predetermined/prescribed measuring points and moves said sensors with the object measured in the conveying direction. It is also attained in that measuring conditions are optimised, the measurement data, in particular ultrasound scans are automatically evaluated by analytical descriptions of the objects measured and measuring locations, and the results are optionally available in a form which can be calibrated. |
