The surface (3) of the seat is a hollow elastic air-filled body (1) whose support surface (4) is joined to the seat-holder (2). The seat surface may be curved (6) in the form of spherical segments. A linkage can have a single pivot point, the seat surface and holder are spaced apart and joined by a bar-shaped connection which can be adjusted in length. The tilt angle of the seat can be restricted by stop pieces.
