Compact disc with data on both sides

The CD or CD-ROM disc is recorded on both sides and can be simultaneously read using a drive unit that has a laser head for both sides. The information may be recorded on one side in the opposite direction to that of the other side, so avoiding the need to reverse the drive direction. Information is printed on one side of the disc using a transparent colour that allows the face passage of the laser light.
