Described is a method, as well as a device, for controlling the travel dynamics of a vehicle, in particular an utility vehicle (1), fitted with an ABS system (6), the method calling for the brake pressure to be varied, in the event of a tendency to lock up, so as to prevent too much wheel skid. The method and device are characterized in that any decrease in the stability of the vehicle (1) to tipping while negotiating a curve is detected by means of an ABS control intervention.
