PURPOSE: To enable programming and also to enable a high-speed asynchronous communication to be executed by utilizing the plural same processing elements which are flexibly and mutually connected so as to form a cluster through a switch in a simulation hard accelerator. CONSTITUTION: The accelerator consists of the eight clusters 10 and a host computer 11 which are mutually connected to a Boolean 3 cube with two-way lines 12-24. They are mutually connected with a common two-way bus 11. Each cluster has a binary address corresponding to the coordinate of the cluster in the n-cube (a solid) in n-space. A task is down-loaded from the host to the cluster with the bus 25. The bus 25 provides direct access to a memory inside the cluster and the buses 12-24 execute communication by a message. The message adds the cluster address so that the n-cube is connected only to the adjacent cluster.
