PURPOSE:To enable even a beginner, etc., to easily and securely program a desired tempo variation pattern by recording tempo control information in real time while confirming a tempo by automatic performance. CONSTITUTION:The tempo control information is generated corresponding to tempo varying operation. The tempo of the automatic performance is varied and controlled corresponding to the tempo varying operation of operation means 12 and 14 and the tempo information based upon the operation is written in a storage means 22 together with tempo control timing information corresponding to the operation timing. Namely, while the automatic performance is carried on, the tempo control information corresponding to the tempo varying operation is written in a memory in real time. Consequently, while the tempo is confirmed by the automatic performance, the desired tempo variation pattern is programmed. |
