The braking unit consists of a transverse oblique brush (10) pointing downwards and forwards and alternately raised and lowered by elastic elements (22) during the passage of a clamp bar; the lowering action being produced by a horizontal bar (40) acting on the upper end of an oblique arm connected to the brush's axis of rotation. On the downward movement the bush is pressed against a rear panel (54) by an obliquely-positioned front section (42) of the bar. The oblique section of the bar can be straight or curved in shape, while the brush's axle (22) is held in the same frame (50) as the panel. <IMAGE> |
