PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a polyester composition excellent in slidability, surface uniformity, transparency and abrasion resistance by dispersing uniform and monodisperse crosslinked polymer particles in a polyester. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by dispersing uniform and monodisperse crosslinked polymer particles of a mean particle diameter of 0.01-5mum in a polyester comprising an aromatic dicarboxylic acid-based dibasic acid component and at least one glycol. The polyester composition is obtained by adding a slurry of the crosslinked polymer particles in water and/or an organic compound of a b.p. >=150 deg.C in a vented molding machine. Although not particularly limited, a styrene/divinylbenzene copolymer and a styrene/acrylonitrile/divinylbenzene copolymer can be desirably used as the above crosslinked polymer particles. The amount of the crosslinked polymer particles added is desirably 0.0001-20wt.%. |
