摘要 |
PURPOSE:To produce a composite material excellent in heat resistance and heat insulating properties while effectively reusing recovered granules of a waste thermoplastic polyester resin foam by bonding the granules with a thermosetting resin. CONSTITUTION:Granules of a thermoplastic polyester resin foam are bonded with a thermosetting resin usually in an amt. of 2-30wt.% to give a composite material. An amt. of the latter resin lower than 2wt.% gives an insufficient adhesive strength; one higher than 30wt.% adversely affects the lightness in wt. and heat insulating properties. When the thermoplastic resin has a degree of crystallization of 20% or higher, the heat resistance, chemical resistance, and strengths of the composite material are improved further. Press molding in a mold under heating improves the adhesive strength between to particles and enables molding into a desired shape. |
