PURPOSE:To constantly maintain optimum side clearance by providing an advance-energizing means for pressing a wheel gear toward the wall surface side and an advance-restricting means for restricting the distance between the wheel gear and the wall surface to a minimum. CONSTITUTION:A spring 21 located between the back face of a wheel gear 14 and a pump-casing 10 is used as an advance-energizing means. An adjusting device 30 is used as an advance-restricting means. The adjusting device 30 consists of a fixed collar 31 fixed to a shaft 15 of the wheel gear 14, a movable collar 17 threaded into the fixed collar and provided with a knurling tool 39 on its surface, and a slidable fixed ring 40 provided with a engaging tooth engaged with the knurling tool 39, fitted into the keyway of the fixed collar, and provided with a key 43 engaging with the cavity of the fixed collar 31 at its tip. Thus, the side clearance can be adjusted by the amount of rotation of the thread part and pitch of the movable collar 37. |
