PURPOSE:To enable repetitive use of a master and prevent a non-conductive material from remaining in a nozzle hole of a nozzle plate by constituting the master with a conductive base material with a recessed part for formation of a non-conductive part and a non-conductive material to be filled into the recessed part for formation of the non-conductive part. CONSTITUTION:Fifteen openings 4 for a non-conductive part with a diameter of 65mum are provided on a stainless steel plate. Next, epoxy resin is filled in an opening 4 for the non-conductive base material 3. Then epoxy resin at other than the opening 4 is removed and consequently, a master consisting of a fixed non-conductive part created solidly is formed. After this, this master 7 is immersed in a plating bath containing sulphamic acid and nickel, and a 25mum thick coat for nozzle late with a 15mum dia. hole 8 is formed on the inner periphery of the non-conductive part 9. The coat for nozzle plate 9 is peeled apart and a nozzle plate 10 with the thickness of 25mum and 15 nozzle holes, each having a diameter of 15mum, arranged at an interval of 2.5mm is obtained. The nozzle plate 10 thus obtained is junctioned to an ink chamber 12 with a vibrating part 11 at the rear to form a recording head. |
