Process for the isomerisation of paraffins by reactive distillation

Isomerisation of a feed consisting of hydrocarbons containing essentially 4 to 8 carbon atoms per molecule consists of treating the feed in a distillation zone containing an extraction zone and a rectification zone link to an isomerisation reaction zone located in the distillation zone, in presence of an isomerisation catalyst and under hydrogen.
