PURPOSE:To provide a copying machine capable of automatically discharging subsequent copy sheets remaining in a transfer route in addition to a jammed copy sheet. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine is provided with a sheet jamming detection means 1 to detect the presence or absence of sheet jamming in a transfer system during the execution of sheet discharge treatment, control means 3 to 7 to execute the sheet discharge treatment, a command means 2, and a display means 2 to display the completion of sheet discharge treatment after the completion of it. Then the control means executes a step in which the sheet jamming detection means detects the removal of a copy sheet causing sheet jamming, a step in which the execution of discharge of the copy sheet is instructed when an instruction is given from an instruction means, a step in which subsequent copying sheets are discharged into a tray by the operation of a transfer system in a transfer route, and step in which the discharge completion is displayed by a display means after the subsequent copy sheets are discharged into the tray. |
