PURPOSE:To prevent the voltage destruction or the like of a load, by a method wherein a variable current source for restraining the higher harmonics of a power source current and another variable current source for restraining the higher harmonics of a load voltage through a reactor are provided in the title device while the DC power source of both variable current sources are used in common. CONSTITUTION:A reactor 4 is interposed in a connecting line between a power source 1 and a load 2 while variable current sources 5, 6 are connected to both ends of the reactor 4. The variable current source 5 restrains higher harmonic current, contained in a power source current, while the variable current source 6 restrains the higher harmonic component of a load voltage. According to this method, the side of the power source 1 is separated perfectly from the side of the load 2 whereby the affection of a higher harmonic current or a higher harmonic voltage may be eliminated. |
