The invention relates to particles comprising a peroxy compound with capability of releasing hydrogen peroxide or peroxy acids in aqueous solutions and up to 15 % by weight of a dicarboxylic acid having from 5 to 10 carbon atoms or a salt thereof. The particle is suitable for integration into the detergent preparations especially for laundring, washing dishes and also into the bleaching preparations.
