<p>Attaching cover to shaped padding, especially for production of seat cushions by solidifying a cover onto a shaped padding, by gluing, involves arranging a cover in a cold shape and holding it by a frame, then applying a glue in the range 10 to 20 g/m2 onto the internal walls of the cover during 0.5 to 2 seconds, heating the surface of the padding to the temperature 170 to 190 C and immediately applying the heated foam padding to the glued walls of the cover, to give immediate transfer of heat by direct contact and very rapid hardening of the glue, then opening the cold shape and removing the padding provided with a cover.</p> |
