摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of adding an instruction bit for the channel identification of data even in the case of adding an input data storage register equivalent to one channel or an output data storage register equivalent to one channel to a digital signal processor(DSP). SOLUTION: This DSP is provided with two registers 5a and 5b for inputting or outputting the digital data of the two channels and respectively storing the data of the respective channels and a switching circuit 11d for automatically switching one register to be a read object or a write object among the two registers 5a and 5b for each read or each write at the time of reading or writing the data from/to one of the two registers 5a and 5b.
