<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring device by which systolic blood pressure value is reliably and accurately found by performing spline processing in relation to amplitude of the pulse wave detected in a process of steppedly reducing the pressure of a cuff and correcting inferior data. SOLUTION: A state of a cuff stepwise reducing the pressure is detected by a pressure sensor 2, the pressure signal D1 is taken in a CPU 13b via an A/V converting circuit, and a blood pressure pulse wave signal D2, which is an output of the A/D converting circuit 9, is taken in the CPU 13b so as to be sampled. The CPU 13b searches and decides the maximum value of the pulse wave waveform from the blood pressure pulse wave signal, and a rising point and the wave height value of the pulse wave waveform are detected. The obtained discrete pulse wave height value is superimposed so that the next smoothed spline processing is performed by setting (M) as a natural number (2M-1) and using a spline function to obtain a smooth continuous line passing in the adjacent to the superimposed discrete pulse wave height value. Secondly, a mean blood pressure value is calculated from the obtained smooth continuous line so as to calculate the systolic blood pressure value.</p> |
