摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately measure the blood pressure by detecting the pulse wave amplitude in a process of reducing a cuff pressure, calculating a variation curve of the pulse wave amplitude value based on the measured maximum pulse wave amplitude value and the pulse wave amplitude value, deciding the real maximum pulse wave amplitude value, and finding the maximum and the minimum blood pressure values. SOLUTION: A cuff pressure control means 2 is connected to a cuff 1 pressing the artery of a subject and a cuff pressure detection means 3 is connected thereto. In a process of reducing the cuff pressure, a pulse wave amplitude value including outputs of the cuff pressure detection means 3 is detected by a pulse wave amplitude detection means 4, the variation curve of the pulse wave amplitude value is calculated by a variation curve calculating means 5 based on the measured maximum pulse wave amplitude value detected thereby and pulse wave amplitude value detected before and after the measured maximum pulse wave amplitude value, the pulse wave amplitude value corresponding to the maximum value of this fluctuation curve is decided as the real maximum pulse wave amplitude value by the maximum pulse wave deciding means 6, and the maximum and the minimum blood pressure value are decided by a blood pressure deciding means 7 based on this value.</p>
