PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branching chamber for air conditioning device which can perform the switching over of air conditioning air for cooling/ heating at a low cost while being compact, and at the same time, can perform a function being equivalent to a 4-way valve by a simple mechanism, in an air conditioning device for highly air-tight, highly insulated type residence. SOLUTION: Under a first swiching state (at the time of cooling) wherein the inside of a branching chamber 21 main body is partitioned into a suction chamber 28 and a blowing-out chamber 29 by a switching valve mechanism 30, a suction connecting port 22, and a first connecting port (a first connecting port 24 on the first story), communicate with the suction chamber 28, and a blowing-out connecting port 23, and a third connecting port (a connecting port 26 on the second story ceiling) communicate with the blowing-out chamber 29. Then, under a second switching state (at the time of heating) by the switching valve mechanism 30, the suction connecting port 22, and the third connecting port 26 communicate with the suction chamber 28, and the blowing- out connecting port 23 and a second connecting port (a second connecting port 25 on the first story) communicate with the blowing-out chamber 29. |
