PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely decompose a liq. without time lag upon actuation due to vehicular collision in a liq. gas generator for air bag utilizing the decomposition of the liq. SOLUTION: A wall surface is provided with a high-pressure vessel 1 having a gas exhaust port to an air bag, a decomposing liq.-filled airtight vessel 8, a decomposition-accelerating-substance releasing means 10, and an iginter 19. The airtight vessel 8, the decomposition-accelerating substance releasing means 10, and the igniter 19 are interposed in the high-pressure vessel 1. A decomposition reaction chamber 21 is formed between the airtight vessel 8 and the gas exhaust port 6. The wall surface is provided with the high-pressure vessel 1 having the gas exhaust port to the air bag, the decomposing liq.-filled airtight vessel 8, the decomposition-accelerating-substance releasing means 10, a burst plate 20 interposed between the high-pressure vessel 1 and the decomposition accelerating-substance releasing means 10, and the igniter 19. The airtight vessel 8, the burst plate 20, the decomposition accelerating-substance releasing means 10, and the igniter 19 are interposed in the high-pressure vessel 1. The decomposition reaction chamber 21 is formed through the burst plate 20 between the airtight vessel 8 and the gas exhaust port 6. |
