PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely peel and remove eggshell membrane attached firmly to the albumen of each of boiled eggs from the albumen. SOLUTION: A machine frame 3 is mounted with a pair of rolls 4, 5 revolving oppositely to each other so that the rolls 4, 5 are pivoted parallel at an egg- receivable interval and their peripheral surfaces face against each other and are revolve downward. At least one of these rolls is made eccentric and an egg-receiving member 6 is set up below a midway position between both the rolls. Besides, there is equipped a boiled egg rubbing device 1 having a frictional spiral projection row 7 on the peripheral surface of at least one of the rolls. Cracked boiled eggs E fed between both the rolls 4 and 5 are rubbed by making use of the eccentric revolution of the eccentric roll(s) 4 and then transferred onto an eggshell peeling section 2 where eggshell is peeled off. |
