PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the preservative stability of a recording material in dry rapid processing by forming a dye layer, a middle layer and a photosensitive layer contg. a compd. having an ethylenically unsatd. bond and microencapsulating the compd. SOLUTION: This recording material has a dye layer contg. a dye vanishing its color by a cyclization addition reaction, a middle layer and a photosensitive layer contg. photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and a compd. having an ethylenically unsatd. bond on the substrate and the compd. has been microencapsulated. This recording material is imagewise exposed to form a latent image and the compd. in the latent image part of the photosensitive layer is polymerized by heating during or after the exposure. The compd. in the non-latent image part is brought into contact with the dye during or after the polymn. to vanish the color. |
