PASSIVE PATH DESIGNATION OPTICAL COMMUNICATION METHOD AND ITS SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid elimination with a known passive optical path designation means by controlling designation of a path for an optical pulse carrying transmission information depending on the intensity of each pulse. SOLUTION: The path designation of an optical pulse carrying transmission information is controlled by each pulse intensity. The communication system is provided with a transmission assembly E sending a message addressed to plural destinations, a common optical medium F receiving the message at least locally and sending it, and a path designation means R receiving a sent message. Various messages sent from the transmission assembly E should be sent through the same very long line. The transmission assembly E has an advantage to provide various ranges to an intermediate height of a message pulse. Then the range is adjusted by each strength and the constants and the shape of the pulse are selected so that the pulse is formed to be a soliton in an ultra-long length line.
