REMOTE CONTROLLER FOR AIR-CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a remote controller for air-conditioner which is kept clean even when it is installed on a wall face or used locally by applying antifungal treatment to a case including corners or bents or the surface of door resin. SOLUTION: A main body case 1 made of an AS resin and a door 2 made of an ABS resin contain 1 pt.wt. of anti-fungous agent per 100 pts.wt. of resin and is formed by injection molding with the resin compounded into colored pellets. The anti-fungous agent used as above is prepared by carrying a thiosulfonic silver complex on a silica gel and coating at least a part of the surface with hydrolyzed tetraethoxycilane. Furthermore, a transparent window 3 is provided in the middle of the door and a transparent PS resin subjected to no antifungal treatment is used for the window.
