<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily divide a display image into plural screens and display them. SOLUTION: In the electronic appliance of a pen input type, when a line segment dividing the screen is plotted with a pen, a control part 24 detects the line segment, sets a division flag to a RAM 26 and divides the screen of a display device into two with the line segment as a boundary. In a divided state, individual editing area and display memory are allocated to the respective screens and data are processed by using the corresponding editing area and display memory. The contents of the two display memories are synthesized and pictures to be actually displayed are generated.</p> |
