发明名称 MULTISTAGE GAS/SOLID SEPARATOR
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently separate contaminated solid substances from a gas flow by removing a high density phase tangentially from each zone and a low density phase from the second zone. SOLUTION: A gas/solid mixture is introduced tangentially into the first stage of an apparatus 10, and high density substances are moved outside by centrifugal force to advance to a separation zone 21. Besides, low density substances advance to intermediate transfer apparatuses 18, 20. Since the zone 21 of the apparatus has a large diameter, the solid which advanced to the part 21 is reduced of its velocity and removed from a solid outlet 12, and a considerable amount of the solid is removed from a gas flow. Gas containing residual contaminated solid which advances in the apparatus 10 advances in the same direction when it flows in the intermediate transfer pipes 18, 20 and is discharged tangentially from the pipe 20 through a tangential opening 23. Heavy solid substances are moved outside by centrifugal force to advance to a separation zone 27 so that solid can be removed from a solid outlet. Besides, low density gas moves nearly in the middle of the apparatus and flows in a gas outlet conduit tube 26.
