PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning method for a wire wherein the wire is moved without exercising an influence on a wire rod even when it is in a positioning state and a plurality of wires are uniformly pressed. SOLUTION: A plurality of wires 1a in dividually positioned in a plurality of positioning parts 2c arranged at given pitches are respectively pressed against corresponding positioning parts by a plurality of press bodies 3 having an arrangement pitch lower than the pitch of the positioning parts and having a diameter, being a half or less of the pitch of the positioning part, and elasticity. As the bending forces of a plurality of the press bodies are adjusted, the wires are positioned at the corresponding positioning parts.
