<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having excellent fixing property at low temp. and improved strength by incorporating a fixing resin, a charge controlling agent and a coloring agent and using a charge controlling resin having a specified glass transition temp Tg and a melt index as the charge controlling agent. SOLUTION: This toner contains a fixing resin, a coloring agent and a charge controlling agent, and a charge controlling resin having 44 to 51 deg.C glass transition temp. Tg and 20 to 120g/10min melt index MI is used as the charge controlling agent. The melt index MI is measured according to the method (B) of JISK 7210 under conditions of 125 deg.C test temp. and 2.16kgf load for extrusion of a thermoplastic resin. It is preferable that the charge controlling resin has 5000 to 12000 weight average mol.wt. and is compounded by 1-5 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the fixing resin. As for the resin, a resin prepared by introducing basic nitrogen atoms such as a quaternary ammonium salt or functional groups such as carboxyl groups into a styrene acryl resin can be used.</p> |
