发明名称 FLOW RATE MEASURING MECHANISM AND PRINTER EMPLOYING THE SAME
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the flow rate of ink without using an operation mechanism having possibility to lower the reliability by moving ink in field and detecting a current induced in the ink. SOLUTION: A flow rate measuring mechanism 12 is disposed in front of the channel of nozzle and connected with a tube 13. Electrodes 16a, 16b are disposed oppositely therein and connected with an electric circuit 17 provided with an ammeter 18. The flow rate measuring mechanism 12 is set in a field. Ink is introduced through the tube 13 to the flow rate measuring mechanism 12. The ink has vector in the flow direction. Since the measuring mechanism is set in the field of vector of field direction, a current is induced in the direction of electrodes 16a, 16b and detected by the ammeter. Since the flow rate of ink is correlated with the detected current, flow rate can be detected from a specified relationship between the flow rate and current value.
