PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a client side to immediately display information by transferring partial information to be used first for display, etc., on the client side by a non-compressed form and transferring partial information of at least one part of the residual part by a compressed form. SOLUTION: Among information divided corresponding to number of character information sent from an information dividing means 103, an information providing means 105 edits information to be displayed first at the client side 20 to be the non-compressed form and residual information to be the compressed form and transmits them to a client 20 by way of a network 30. The client 20 receives the information by means of an information receiving means 203 and sends partial information of non-compressed form to a display control means 204 as it is. On the other hand, compressed information is extended and then sent to the display control means 204 to be displayed on a display screen 205 instead of information displayed on the display screen 205.
