PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stockpiling preservation structure for goods and water for relief and disaster prevention after earthquake disaster in order to restrict the damages to a minimum to be prepared against a great earthquake. SOLUTION: Frameworks for 1st, 2nd and 3rd basement floors are built with steel members and exterior basement walls are made of concrete underneath parking areas, apartment buildings, gymnasiums, playgrounds, and many school buildings including elementary, junior and senior high schools and universities scattered throughout the nation and prefectures. Synthetic resin rubber bodies 2 are built in or attached to the interior wall surfaces in the basement structures for preventing water leakage from fire fighting and drinking water storages. Rain water, snowmelt water, etc., is collected with drain gutters 10 and stored in storage structures. For drinking water, a main bodies of stainless steel cylinders 12 with activated carbon are located at the purified water intake 3. Other basement spaces are used for stockpiling goods, foods, medical articles and communication transmitter-receiver with electric power collected from solar cell panels 9 installed on roofs and stored in batteries 8. |
