PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball point pen chip for a high viscosity liquid, which is excellent in a constant clearance in a condition, in which the pressure a writen put on the pen is applied, airtightness in a condition, in which the pressure is released, and in a manner of manufacturing. SOLUTION: This chip is constructed such that a ball 8 is held by a housing portion 2, which has a liquid passing port 3 at a bottom 2a, and is prevented by a rim 5 from dismounting. In this case, the chip body 1 comprises a housing portion 2, a plurality of movable portions 6 for biasing the ball 8 against the rim 5 when the pressure a writen put on the pen is released, said movable portions being elastically deflectable in a direction of application of the pressure when the pressure is applied, and a plurality of stationary bearing seats 7 for bearing the ball 8 pushed by the pressure. The chip body 1 is injection molded into a unitary body from a synthetic resin material. |
