PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the time while an interlocked XY table can move for positioning by avoiding interference. SOLUTION: With an electronic component mounting method, an XY table 3 positions insertion holes 2a and 2b of a substrate 2 to a component insertion position, an insertion head part 1 descends, the lead wire of retained components is bent downward and inserted into the insertion holes 2a and 2b, and an anvil part 4 rises at the lower side of the substrate 2 and bends the tip of the lead wire. In this case, the height of electronic components mounted on the substrate 2 at a previous process and electronic parts to be successively mounted and the distance between the insertion head part 1/anvil part 4 and the substrate 2 are compared, an interlock height where the mounted electronic parts and the insertion head part 1 or the anvil part 4 do not interfere is maintained and updated according to the height of the highest electronic parts and then the XY table 3 is moved. |
