PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a password from being recognized by another person even in the case when the situation of inputting the password is seen by the person. SOLUTION: In the case that the execution of a scrambling processing is selected by a user, after the input of a user ID is ended, the contents of a character code chart are shifted and stored in an area KEY1 inside a RAM 5. When an electric signal (key code) corresponding to a key pressed as the password is inputted, based on the shifted character code chart, the electric signal is converted to a character code. That is, since a character indicated at the key top of an input key 2a pressed so as to input the password is different from an actual password, even when the state of inputting the password is seen by the other person, the possibility that the actual password is recognized is less. |
