PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass scrubber having a breaking function, not generating horizontal cracks deteriorating the quality of a glass plate on the scrubbing of the glass plate and not injuring or staining the surface of the glass plate on the breaking of the glass plate. SOLUTION: A linear protrusion 9 having a prescribed height is formed on a table 51, and first suction means 8a, 8a' are disposed on both the sides of the protrusion on the table. Second suction means 8b, 8b' are disposed between the first suction means and the protrusion. When the glass plate 1 is sucked on the table with the first suction means, the glass plate is set on the table in an upward curved state, and the glass plate is subsequently scrubbed with a cutter wheel 3 along the protrusion. The glass plate is further sucked on the table with the second suction means to furthermore curve the glass plate. Thus, the glass plate is broken along the scrubbed line. |
