PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an excellent peeling property to be stably shown by providing at least, a single color on one of the faces of a base material sheet and adding at least, a sublimable dye, a silicone graft polymer and a polysiloxane compound to the dye layer. SOLUTION: A thermal ink transfer sheet consists of a dye layer 3 and a medium to which an ink is transferred stacked on one of the faces of a base material sheet 2, from the side of which a sublimable dye is thermally transferred to the medium. In this case, the dye layer 3 contains at least, the sublimable dye, a silicone graft polymer and a polysiloxane compound. In addition, the dye layer 3 contains the same polymer as constituting the silicone graft polymer. Further, the degree of polymerization of a siloxane chain of the polysiloxane compound is set to the range of 3-48, and the polysiloxane compound has the functional group of either NH2 or NHR (R is an alkyl group) on, at least, one of the terminals of or halfway through the chain. |
