PRINTED MATTER HAVING CONDUIT CROSS SECTION PATTERN AND GENERATION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INTERNAL HUE DATA IN CONDUIT CROSS SECTION PATTERN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain hue data production method which can faithfully reproduce the natural wood texture in a conduit cross section pattern by performing the internal printing of the pattern so as to continuously change the color in the lengthwise direction of the pattern. SOLUTION: Every pattern that is photographed key a growth ring pattern photographing device 10 and a conduit cross section image pickup device 15 is fetched into a computer 30 as the digital image data. A contour recognition part 31 recognizes the contour part of every graphic pattern based on the binary image data stored in the computer 30. A three-dimensional data generation part 33 fetches the contour that is processed at a contour shape processing part 32 and defines a geometrically approximate graphic that is approximate to the processed contour and also can be expressed in a mathematical expression. Thus a geometric cut model of a conduit is produced, and the depth information of the conduit groove is calculated. Then the prescribed depth information is given to an optional point in the graphic pattern. A surface color allocation part 34 adds a color vector to the corresponding point to which the depth information is given together with the color tone attribute.
